Our Society is one of the oldest societies in Australia specifically catering for live steam railways. We have had over 60 years of history in the community and in developing the hobby through the Australian Miniature Boiler Safety Committee and the Australian Association of Live Steamers. The history of the Sydney Live Steam Locomotive Society is in many ways synonymous with the history of the movement in Australia.
